This space aims to support people who live with fibromyalgia on the island of Ireland, in the UK, and across Europe.
Scientifically-verified insights and developments related to chronic pain will be published. Calls for research participants are welcome.
Claims of ‘healing’ through particular products, without any clinical trials, will not be shared here.
You’re welcome to send me in-person meeting news and online supports.
Fake V fact
Trials, tests, and methodologies are important. We live in a world where inaccurate information is rife. AI generates much nonsense. Even before it became dominant, many websites were unreliable. Please know that using Google or other search engines is not ‘research’.
My training is in social science. Like all science, it builds on what came before. Humans are forever generating new knowledge and in a state of discovery. That’s why it is important not to misuse the word ‘research’, and why I am selective about what appears on this site.
Behind every post is a lot of reading and fact-checking. It is my intention to provide blog posts that are helpful and accurate. We don’t need fake bullshit, claims of cures, or to have hopes raised, then dashed.
I’m doing my best with this site, and it will remain online until October 2026. If you come across any errors, please do let me know. Some people go to social media and dump venom on those who make a mistake. It is vile, of course. I’d appreciate your calm feedback by email to inform me of any broken links on this site. Helpful information is always welcome.
